Drug Information

Administration

You should stop smoking completely before using the inhaler. Follow the directions carefully. Use exactly as directed. Do not use the inhaler more often than directed.


Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. Special care may be needed.

Contraindications

Your healthcare provider needs to know if you have any of these conditions:

  • diabetes
  • heart disease, angina, irregular heartbeat or previous heart attack
  • high blood pressure
  • lung disease, including asthma
  • overactive thyroid
  • pheochromocytoma
  • seizures or history of seizures
  • stomach problems or ulcers
  • an unusual or allergic reaction to nicotine, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
  • pregnant or trying to get pregnant
  • breast-feeding

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, use only that dose. Do not use double or extra doses.
